- I don’t get it! I really don’t get it! Our “Mints” that are making coins, what’s wrong You all? I could understand a little bit about some of the metals because once their bonded. You may not see the amounts of copper, zinc, silver, nickel, bronze or gold. However if you were to use the materials for a quarter and load in your dime machines I think you should be able to see and feel it’s a lot thicker. I also know that is supposed to be inspected. Also I’m not so sure a dime machine would be able to handle the thickness for the quarter material or material for a dime feeding in a quarter machine. But the want to gets me most is how do you over stamp a P and D or a D and S, etc.. Philadelphia should not have Denvers D stamp or San Francisco’s S or any of the other mints. Again this is supposed to be inspected! I could go on about this crap but I won’t. I know if I did crap like that that when I was working, I would’ve been fired.
